HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS

i would like to say this book is the BEST
and jk rocks! haha
what an ending XD oh well, no spoilers here
i finished it in about 10-11 hrs... actually quite slow la haha
got to borders at 5:30 unexpectedly early, to find the queue being quite long already... so so far from the main entrance, so i just joined it.
they promised activities at the launch, but that was all only happening at the front of the queue! lies. oh well, the main thing was getting the book anyway.

surprisingly there were people who came yesterday to queue,i just didn't think it'll happen in singapore haha
those more fanatic english fans had been queueing outside their bookstores 2 days earlier! wth!
later i joined a shorter queue and put my bag there while sharon guarded the spot,and went to look around,near the entrance of the shop, where some cosplayers were, e.g. madeye, cho, harry, bellatrix , and several others in school robes

didn't get the book till 7:30 or so... ok i forgot the exact time. if i had gone to popular, i would have gotten it immediately haha, but still, borders had a nicer feel to it =D they've even got "I got my harry potter at borders" balloons and gold and black!!

and gave us a free snowy old soft toy, which they said was hedwig,but it's name tag read "knowledge" *shrugs*

and after i had gotten my book, the queue which extended from the main entrance at the other end had lengthened

headed to coffee bean to start reading, and i was famished, since i hadn't eaten breakfast or drank anything =X
since it was just beside borders, many people were reading their book there too
moved to burger king when it had gotten too cold in there, and found many people reading the book there too!
and burger king got increasingly crowded and NOISY, those $%^&%^$ foreigners make so much noise!! especially koreans ugh, they never fail to announce their presence wherever they go, hear them speaking at the top of their voices in libraries, shopping malls, book shops, fast food restaurants... one particular pair of them especially. i could hear them 6 tables away!!
didn't want to stop and eat as i wanted to read further, that was until i couldn't take it

well the book: many deaths, atonishing discoveries ( which were the most interesting parts of the book), and action-packed scenes
which made the recent ootp film seem like rubbish
